Snippets of our interaction
1) What prompted you to get admitted into the CA course?

I had a keen Intetest in Analytical finance and CA are considered to be backbone of Finance in India ,because they can utilise accounting data along with their exceptionally strong Taxation and financial management expertise to every transaction and ensure that it is conducted in best possible manner simultaneosuly ensuring all other compliances.

Both Mr Ratan Tata and Mr Birla rely heavily on business Accumen of CAs.

CA control the entire organisations both smaller to larger ones and lead it to success with their inputs.

Hence I joined this course.

2) In retrospect, what has been your expected/unexpected and most cherished gain .

CA is my most cherished gain. The three year articleship gave me chance to see books coming to reality and most imprtantly to meet and deal with People of varied characters across industries, understand them, their behaviours. Understanding the way of working and judging their caliber is the single most quality one must have to succeed. Further I was also able to identify my key area of Interest.
Most expected was that I will realise my dreams

And most Unexpected was Passing exam with All India Rank 6.

3) What is your favorite aspect of articleship and why?

In today’s competitive world there are two things of utmost relevance for sucess

1. Specialisation in yoiur area of Interest
2. Personal and People &Team Management

Articleship sows seeds for both of these at very young age and thats the beauty of Articleship.

4) How do you think life would have been different had you not opted for an CA?

CA is like a brand. It is a symbol of trust, quality and smartness. Its like a 5 star rating which we have for Air Conditioners.
Just like no one buys AC with poor ratings similarly without CA I wouldnot have had the opportunity of been considered by some organisations where i could do what I want to achieve in my life.

In Finance terms CA means Capital Appreciation. For one’s whole life.

.5)  Any words of advice for future CA aspirants?

Word hard . Study Smart.

Do not read books for passing, try to identify careers out of them. Link subjects to ur life and  CA exams will be easier. At the end it is just an exam of 3 hours. It can change your life after those 3 hours of exam.

Because

if You study well

CA= Capital Appreciation

Otherwise
