What prompted you to get admitted into the CA course?
Ans: I had heard a lot about the course and moreover I was a student of commerce stream and came from a business community and there was high respect for CA in the society. That respect for CA inspired me to join this invaluable course.
In retrospect, what has been your expected/unexpected and most cherished gain from your CA journey?
The unexpected experience had been the initial days of practice when I found very tough to sustain but slowly and gradually when you pass the gestation period, you start feeling comfortable. And you start moving onto the upper echelons of the system.
My most cherished gain has been the love and affection from the community, in particular and from society in general.
What is your favorite aspect of articleship and why?
As an articled intern, you face the real world for the first time. Learn to sit and work in disciplined environment, see the variety in the world around you, get the opportunity to act like an inspector, enjoy the hospitality of clients, enjoy going different places, making newer friends from various places etc. Articleship I find is the real game changer in one’s professional life.
How do you think life would have been different had you not opted for a CA?
Probably as a trader sitting in my native place and moving in a small society with less exposure and limited vision.
Any words of advice for future CA aspirants?
Sincerity and Hardwork.
